In Washoe County, a walk-in based, low-cost vaccine clinic for public dogs and cats is held every Saturday, from 9am – 11am, first-come, first-served, in order to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. It’s held at the veterinary clinic at Nevada Humane Society at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno. For details and pricing, click here. In Carson City, a low-cost vaccine clinic is held every Friday, from 3pm – 5pm at the Carson City Animal Shelter at 549 Airport Road. For details and pricing for this location, click here. Both clinics welcome walk-ins, and dogs must be leashed while cats must be in carriers.


Nevada Humane Society’s clinic provides services to homeless pets, as well as ongoing care for specific pets (Angel Pets and cats with Social Se-CAT-ary) adopted from the shelter. As funding and resources allow, we also offer low-cost spay/neuter services for public pets, by appointment only. Please know that as of November 3, 2017, we do have to discontinue spay/neuter services for owned dogs. This service will be available in 2018, but a time frame is unknown at this time.
