Who is eligible? Northern Nevada community members struggling to feed their pets. Please apply using the link below.
Our community is in crisis and many Northern Nevada residents find themselves struggling to feed their pets. We’re here to help. While our first priority is always caring for the animals in our shelters, we are committed to supporting Northern Nevada pets and community members in need during this challenging time. Our Pet Food Assistance program will help ensure that families in need are able to continue to feed their pets.
If you are a resident of Washoe County or Carson City, NV you can stop by either of our animal shelters when PFA is being offered. You simply need to bring a valid form of identification and to fill out an application -which you can print using the link below and bring with you, or you can fill out when you stop by to pick up your pet food.
*Pet Food Assistance is limited to one household or cat colony per month. We will give you enough pet food for a month at the time of your visit.
