Need to Find your Zen?
How about relaxing and unwinding with some of Nevada Humane Society’s favorite feline friends? This upcoming yoga series will allow you to not only align your chakras but also search for your new furry soulmate.
Just being around animals can alleviate stress and bring about a more calm presence to your life. Studies have shown pets to be an anxiety-reducer, they help you get more active, and provide valuable companionship.
This is a great chance to grab your at-home buddy, or keep your eye out for a new one to add to the family. Having a buddy to do yoga with can take your experience to a whole different level!
The first event in the series will be taking place on February 27, 2021 from 10a.m. to 11a.m. This is a virtual event, that will be held via Zoom. You can find more information on how to join the class by visiting our events calendar page. This will kick off the first of many in a series that we will be starting. This event is completely free to the public, although our cats always appreciate your donations.
Our Cat on the Mat yoga series will be taught by Jenn Martin of Satori Movement. Satori Movement is a local Reno business, so be sure to check them out!
So if you love cats, and love yoga–now is your chance to join!
