In early March, a very unique kitty was surrendered to us. She was quite the spicy kitty but still stole many hearts. She had her moments when she wanted love, and she had her moments when she preferred to be left alone. Meet Maddy.
Maddy got adopted in April but was returned after a few months. She then became a long-term resident in our Reno Campus, spending around 100 days with us. By October, it was decided to transfer Maddy to our Carson Shelter to meet new people. In just two days, Maddy finally found her fur-ever home!
Here is an update from her new family.
“Crabby Maddy” is so much fun. Trimmed her little lobster claw-toe nails made her much happier. She has the run of the whole house and loves to put me in my place. I haven’t been able to get any weight off her yet, but it doesn’t seem to affect her. She acts like a kitten and runs (fast waddle) up and down the hallway. She is the thing in my life that keeps me grounded and happy, even when she wants to chew me up.”
