 Because of your generosity, we were able to act quickly. Our team converted cat colony rooms into safe, temporary housing and immediately separated males from females. Spay and neuter surgeries for guinea pigs require highly specialized veterinary care and carry greater risks than for cats or dogs, so it wasn’t an option in this emergency. Separating them by sex prevented more litters and gave each guinea pig the chance to begin a new chapter. 

Some were adopted within days, while others stayed longer, including several moms who gave birth. Thanks to you, every guinea pig received clean housing, nutritious food, medical exams, and the safety they deserved until they were ready for loving homes.
